Gwaun cae Gurwen travelled to the Gnoll at Neath having beaten their hosts earlier in the season and hoping for a similar outcome.
Having completed five ends, the home team led 24-11 thanks to their Number Two and Three rinks leading 9-0 and 9-2 respectively.
However, by the tenth end, GcG had reduced this deficit to 43-39, thanks to their Number Four rink, who led 17-7.
At 15 ends, the scores were level on 63-63, with Waun’s Number One and Four rinks leading 19-10 and 23-11. However, that was as good as it got for GcG as the hosts outscored them by 33-13 shots over the last six ends.

The Waun play their final match of the season this week,at home against Vivians Park, Aberavon.
